Who we are

MeasureMate (measuremate.cc) is part of the Jonkai Network and is operated by Jonkai Ventures OÜ, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia (registry code 17322110), the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at info@measuremate.cc.

What you type into calculators

Calculations run in your browser. The values you enter are not sent to our servers or stored by us. Some tools (the BMI and BMR calculators, the percentage, discount and tip calculators, and the length, weight, volume, speed and temperature converters) put your inputs in the page address so a result can be bookmarked or shared. Like any page address, it is included in the page-view and ad requests your browser sends to Google (see Analytics and Advertising below). One tool contacts another service, and says so on the page:

  • The currency converter requests the latest European Central Bank reference rates from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev). The request contains no amounts you enter; like any web request, it reveals your IP address to that service.
  • No other calculator sends your inputs anywhere. The QR code generator, hash calculator and password checker work entirely in the page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and to find errors. It collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or region), device and browser type, and referring site. Google Analytics loads after the page has finished loading or after your first interaction.

Advertising

The site is funded by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show ads, measure them and, where you allow it, personalize them based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Consent

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message from Google's Privacy & Messaging service, a consent management platform certified under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. Until you make a choice there, Google Consent Mode v2 keeps advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalization and analytics storage set to “denied”. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Privacy & cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Visitors in other regions may see a message required by their local law (for example some US states). You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Cookies and local storage

  • Advertising and analytics cookies set by Google, subject to the consent rules above.
  • Consent record set by the Google consent message to remember your choice.
  • Theme preference: if you switch between light and dark mode, the choice is kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.

The site's fonts and scripts for the calculators are served from our own domain.

Legal bases (EEA and UK)

Analytics and advertising cookies rely on your consent. Answering emails relies on our legitimate interest in responding to you. Server logs kept by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security rely on legitimate interest.

Retention

Google Analytics event data is kept for no longer than 14 months, the longest retention period Google offers for standard properties. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your message. We do not run user accounts and do not hold a database of visitors.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Email info@measuremate.cc. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; ours is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
