Finance
Loan, savings and tax calculators built on the standard amortization and compound-interest formulas, with the formula shown on every page.
Rates that change over time (US tax brackets, VAT rates, exchange rates) are labeled with the date they were checked or fetched. The results are estimates, not financial advice.

Which finance calculator to start with
Borrowing
For a car or personal loan, the loan payment calculator gives the monthly payment and total interest. The mortgage calculator adds a month-by-month amortization schedule showing how each payment splits between interest and principal. Already have a mortgage? The refinance calculator divides closing costs by the monthly saving to find the break-even month. The debt consolidation calculator compares several debts with one new loan, and rent vs buy sets the total cost of owning against renting and investing the difference.
Saving and investing
Three tools look at the same growth formula from different sides. The compound interest calculator projects a balance forward from a deposit plan, the savings goal calculator starts from a target and works back to the monthly deposit, and the investment return calculator takes a start and end value and reports the annual growth rate (CAGR). The budget planner helps decide how much can go to saving in the first place.
Prices, margins and tax
Margin and markup are not the same percentage: a 25% markup on cost is a 20% margin on the selling price. The margin calculator shows both, and the break-even calculator finds how many units cover fixed costs. To take VAT out of a price, divide by one plus the rate rather than subtracting the percentage; the VAT calculator does it both ways. US federal income tax for the 2026 tax year is estimated by the federal income tax calculator.
Exchange rates and crypto prices
The currency converter uses the European Central Bank’s reference rates and shows their date. Banks and card networks add their own margin to those mid-market rates, so expect to receive slightly less. Crypto prices move too fast to store in a page, so the crypto converter uses a price you look up and enter.
