Education
Grades, averages, fractions, scientific notation and study planning: calculators for students and teachers that show each step, so they help with homework instead of replacing it.
Grading scales differ between schools, so the grade tools let you edit the cutoffs to match your syllabus.

Grades, averages and homework helpers
What do I need on the final?
If your syllabus weights categories (homework 20%, midterm 30%, final 50%), a plain average of your scores gives the wrong course grade. The grade calculator applies those weights and works out the final-exam score needed for the grade you want. For any other weighted mean, such as survey groups or prices bought in lots, use the general weighted average calculator.
Percentages, letters and grade points
The percentage to grade converter turns a score into a letter grade, and the GPA calculator turns letter grades into a credit-weighted grade point average for a term or a whole transcript. Cutoffs and point values vary between schools (some award 4.3 for an A+, many cap at 4.0): the grade converter lets you edit its cutoffs to match your handbook, and the GPA calculator uses the common 4.0 scale.
Checking math homework
The fraction calculator adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides fractions and mixed numbers with exact arithmetic and shows the simplified result. The scientific notation converter rewrites very large or small numbers and keeps track of significant figures, which is where most lab-report marks are lost. Working the problem first and using the tool to check the answer is the way they are meant to be used.
Planning revision
The study time planner splits the hours you have before an exam across the topics you still need to cover and keeps the last days free for review. Treat the result as a starting schedule and adjust it after the first week, once you know how long a topic really takes you.
